Knock sensor uses the piezoelectric effect to convert the mechanical vibration generated during knocking into a signal voltage. When resonance occurs, it outputs a high knock signal voltage and sends it to the ECU. The ECU corrects the ignition time in time to avoid knocking. It's usually installed on the upper position of the engine block. MAPMS's car knock sensor accurately measures engine shake and has long service life.
